Keep your fingers crossed we don’t lose power! We’ve had freezing rain ALL day.
We just got upgraded to a winter storm warning. There’s probably a half inch of ice already and they expect it to continue all night.
I think I just finished Christmas shopping for the kids. We just have parents and pets left to buy for.
I always buy a couple of new toys and treats. My mom always did it so I grew up with it. Her cats even had their own stockings. I remember her rounding the cats up to “open” their gifts. ? Maybe my mom and I are the weird ones.

It’s a little ridiculous how excited I am about a house plant, but Bran bought a fiddle leaf fog for me today. I’m excited to find a new pot for it tomorrow. Geez I’m old.
I want a fig tree!! Our neighbors cut theirs down. ? Out pecan tree is finally starting to put on fruit though. 10-12 years is such a long fucking time to wait.
We’ve talked about planting fruit trees out back, but I do t know if we’ll be in this house long enough to get to enjoy any fruit.
He ALWAYS gives me his upgrade. ALWAYS. I told him to use it for himself this time but he insists I use it or he’ll wait til I graduate. I don’t use “Linda, listen” enough.

Bran is working and mom is keeping Boo for a few hours today. That means I get to go grocery shopping alone...yay... I lead an exciting life.

And Bran didn’t get video of that? I’m seriously disappointed in you both!! Torturing your kids is a perk of parenting. As is putting the fear into them! ???

I have to skip clinic today for a trip to the doctor. I’ve slept most of the last 3 days and have now developed a fever and shortness of breath. Yay...
